 Welcome to Dun Eisdean, phase 2.

This phase of the work entails geophysical survey of the island and a small trial excavation of selected features. We attempted to carry out this work in February, but were thwarted by Atlantic storms, a regular occurrence in Lewis! This time we have been more successful with the weather, and our work is well under way. We will be updating this web page every few days, to let you know how we are progressing, so please check regularly!
